APPLIED KINESIOLOGY

Applied Kinesiology (AK) was founded and developed by Dr. George J.Goodheart, Jr. AK is a hands on system that evaluates the structural, chemical and mental aspects of health using manual muscle testing, range of motion, and other standard methods of diagnosis. At Corpus Sanus we apply AK methods to locate unbalanced muscles, determine why the muscle is not functioning properly, and provide treatment to restore muscle functionality.

What makes us unique is the inclusion of Functional Biochemistry, a non-invasive evaluation of the chemical and nutritional aspects of your health, enabling us to provide a deeper investigation of your symptoms and move towards the cause of the problem.

AK treatments may involve specific joint mobilization, various myofascial therapies, cranial techniques, meridian, acupressure modalities, clinical nutritional/dietary management, evaluation of environment irritants and various reflex procedures.

The structural, chemical, and mental elements of your body interact with each other, and impact your overall health and well-being. For example: chronic back pain (structural) leads to chronic inflammatory process (chemical imbalances) that lead to fatigue, depression and/or anxiety (mental).
